My very first galvanic keyboard was a Casio. We are talking about 27 years ago now (and it was second hand when I got it) but I well loved it and it in case, granted me with a lot of joy for many years. However, like most if not all technology, there have been some indispensable advances since then and it was with a quiet sense of excitement that I got to recap the Casio Px 330, a digital piano first released to the shop at the end of 2009.
The first thing I noticed about the Casio Px 330 was how much the grand piano sound well sounded like a grand piano. It is great and I was immediately impressed with the sound coming out of the exquisite speakers. It was the first clear evidence that this keyboard was in a thoroughly distinct stratosphere than my dear old Casio. The next thing I noticed was that the keys responded to the pressure I put on them just like a piano does. This is awesome, and a bit of explore tells us this corollary is due to the Casio Tri-Sensor scaled hammer operation technology used with the keyboard. Oh, and there are 88 keys so this is a full sized keyboard (and dare I say it, about twice the size of my old favorite) which further replicates the piano experience.
As I spent more time with this digital piano I found out that it is exquisite if you are seeking to whether learn the piano with a tutor or play the keyboard with other player as it comes with a Duet function whereby the keyboard can be split into two with each player playing their own part. So the student can watch and listen to the tutor and play with them; the combine can play a love song together and come to be closer in their music performance. There are even 2 headphone jacks so others in the vicinity do not need to be disturbed.

One highlight which I well loved is that there is a vast array of sounds and rhythms to play with and I could feel my inner creative genius just aching to express itself. And even better, there is a 16-track recorder and Sd Memory card slot so I could description that aforementioned genius and then, via the Usb connections, load that onto my computer so as to unleash it on my house and friends. From my perspective that is exciting, I cannot necessarily speak for my house and friends.
All up I was impressed. The Casio Px 330 has a whole bunch of features that are very pleasing and I have not even mentioned that it is lightweight and thus easy to carry to gigs, churches, house and friends, wherever you wish to perform. I have researched the sentiment of purchasers of this keyboard and one beloved poll had purchasers rating the keyboard 4.4 out of 5 so it is clear I am not alone in my enthusiasm.
